TRIO

S0004 / 2017—18

THREE NEW SPACES IN ONE VINTAGE BUILDING, IN ONE OF DENVER'S NEXT BEST NEIGHBORHOODS.

We took a 1940s-era cinderblock building and revitalized it — transforming it from an abandoned eyesore into a vibrant and bright new landmark for the community.  we increased the transparency on the front façade by nearly 50%, flooding each space with light.

the industrial heritage of the building is still visible — the whitewashed original ceiling, the stained and mottled polished concrete floors, the lines of the original block walls.

the exterior is bright white and sharp black — with an abstract hand-painted topographic pattern in the grey area between.
